I just wanted to say that the link goes to the Diocese of Quincy for the Anglican Church in North America. He was the Bishop somewhat prior to the split and served while it was still a member of the Episcopal Church. Granted, from what I understand he does support the ACNA. But, since the Episcopal Diocese of Quincy still exists it might be appropriate to specify to which website the external link leads to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.215.137.69 (talk) 06:24, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Today's updates edit

I just updated the article and textbox to reflect both Bishop Ackerman's elected diocesan successor, and his apparent current retirement from the breakaway ACNA. I am writing here because I know this man's work is controversial, as well as because some correct information was deleted and misleading information added to this article on October 17, 2013 by the unattributed web address 71.123.135.67. I have no problem with listing both his Episcopal and ACNA successors, but apparently either the textbox protocol will not accept both, or I lack sufficient technical expertise.Jweaver28 (talk) 11:24, 19 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

"bishop vicar" edit

The body of the text says "After joining the Anglican Church in North America, Ackerman had used the title Bishop Vicar at the Diocese of Quincy." Everything he is doing now, after his retirement from Quincy, is in Texas and none of it involves Quincy. What does it mean in the lead to say "he is currently the bishop vicar" of Quincy?--Richardson mcphillips (talk) 10:31, 13 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
