Please fix these innaccuracies edit

Having put quite a bit of effort into correcting this page to make it more readable and accurate (only to have it reverted because of an accusation of copyright infringement), it is frustrating to see so many inaccuracies here misinforming the world.

First, Lewek is not a "mezzo-soprano"--if she must be pigeonholed, she is a textbook dramatic coloratura. (Just look at her repertoire and the roles listed under the dramatic coloratura page.) Mezzo-sopranos do not sing hundreds of performances of Queen of the Night.

Second:

Soon after, she made her debut at Aix-en-Provence in Barcelona, Spain as Cunegonde with Francesca Zambello and the Washington National Opera.[2]

This makes no sense internally and is also entirely inaccurate. Aix-en-Provence is a city in France, not Barcelona, Spain, and Lewek never performed Cunegonde in France, Spain, or Washington, nor has Francesca Zambello ever directed Candide in Aix-en-Provence or Spain.

Lewek has sung Queen of the Night in Aix-en-Provence and Washington DC. She also sang Teresa in Benvenuto Cellini at the Liceu in Barcelona.

Third:

Following her appearance as the Queen, she sung as Lucia in Lucia di Lammermoor and then appeared as Violetta in La traviata.[4]

The first part is broadly correct, in that Lewek did sing the Queen of the Night before she sang Lucia, but it is random. She has never sung the role of Violetta in La traviata.

Fourth:

In 2018 she sang as Zerbinetta in the Ariadne auf Naxos with the patronage of the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

She has sung many roles at the Deutsche Oper Berlin (patronage?), but Zerbinetta is not one of them. Handy list of most operas she's performed [here]. As you can see, in 2016, she sang Konstanza in Die Entführung aus dem Serail at Deutsche Oper, and in 2019 she sang the role at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.

Fifth:

The same year, she also was scheduled to perform in Leonard Bernstein's Candide, but got pulled out and was replaced by Emily Pogorelc.[7]

It is accurate that Lewek was scheduled to perform in Candide, but it is not accurate that she "got pulled out": she withdrew due to pregnancy. see this Washington Post review
