edit

This article seems to have been written over a period of time by Kathleen McGowan and her supporters and needs to be considerably improved to meet the NPOV criteria. Wfgh66 (talk) 19:41, 14 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The article contains references to the Jesus bloodline existing "as far as the mid 1800s" and "found in various Nineteenth Century Germanic Biblical criticisms" and in the "teaching of many esoteric mystery sects". Can someone please provide citations to these passages, otherwise it will fall into "weasel words" as per Wikipedia Policy:

Indeed. I have re-organized the material present, removed only the claim about the discussion at amazon.com because that seems totally unnotable.

I have retained the amazon-refs even though they largely do not give much information.

Why was this material removed? [1] Str1977 (talk) 20:58, 5 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Banners

edit

I've removed all uncited material from this article (and then the banners) to bring it back to non-OR. As this is a BLP, material should only be added if it comes from reliable sources. This will be my only involvement in this article, as I was only responding from BLP/N. --Faith (talk) 19:00, 18 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I deleted a dead link and some obvious personal remarks in relation to the content which made no sense to the avarage reader. Wikipedia articles are not soapboxes. Discussion belongs on talk pages, not in an article. See page history to compare versions prior and after my edit. Harachte (talk) 14:38, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

15 or 50 languages?etc.

edit

Simon & Shuster site talks about 15 languages the books were translated. [1] Fifty languages? Da vinci Code was translated in 54 languages, so, if McGowan's books had similar number of translations, wouldn't the publisher mention it? McGown herself was giving information about 50 languages, for ex. here is the site which advertises her writing workshop,[2], (Body Mind Spirit Journeys enterprise, site accessed on 05.31. 2016) states "her books have been translated into 50 languages and sold in more than 100 countries worldwide." The external link to author's personal website isn't working, the site doesn't exist anymore, I will delete it.

Her page on BBS Spirit Revolution radio says 30 languages, and 50 languages on the same site. [3]

Also the link to the USAtoday article doesn't say anything about translations, even though the reference link is posted after the information.Bialosz (talk) 06:48, 1 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

Song writer category?

edit

Is this necessary and encyclopedic to include among song writers a novelist who wrote lyrics for two songs, which are very obscure and impossible to find,(for whom there were written, by whom performed and when?) All song writers on wikipedia are notable for their song writing, they have careers as song writers, and are notable as song writers, and for this reason are included in this wikipedia category, but those lyrics by McGowan are obscure.
