Recent content removals

edit

I actually agree with some of the removals of content by User:Hollywoodbollywood22 aka User:Durr-e-shehwar. In particular:

  • The various roles Bohra was "approached" for but did not take (or did not get). That provides no encyclopedic information on Bohra, and this source doesn't just get Bohra playing the role wrong, but also his supposed co-stars Matt Damon and Dev Patel - it can only be considered rumormongering years before the film was shot.
  • The "in the media" section consists solely of irrelevant trivia. We're not a celebrity gossip rag, and the quotes in that section are excessive.

If no good reason is presented why that content improves the encyclopedia, I'll remove those parts again. Huon (talk) 16:29, 6 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

As it happens I agree, and he made the fair point that this article did not (to him anyway) get treated the same way as others in the category (e.g his comment on my TP here)- but as I said then, it wasn't his edits, it was the WP:BATTLEGROUND attitude he displayed towards other editor's advice. There's no reason the edits themselves can't be discussed. In fact so far we a (two-editor!) 100% consensus towards change   Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi 16:55, 6 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

The user Digvijay is being a pain, this user is removing stuff from other pages, but when it comes to this page he/she gets angryDon 03:53, 17 September 2015 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Turehnde (talkcontribs)

Promotional fluff

edit

I've removed what is clearly promotional nonsense from this article, for instance stuff that was resubmitted in this edit. The journalist Purva Desai, in 2013, described Bohra as "stylish, hot and confident". in real life, Bohra is the hero who is working towards a better and clean environment" These statements only serve to promote the subject. I am having difficulty thinking of another article that includes character evaluations the way we'd include a critic's summary for a film. Doesn't belong here. Please can the non fiction and fiction shows be clubed together under one table CutiePieAkky (talk) 06:13, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Not done for now: I mean, it does seem to make sense that they are split. Is there a reason to put them in one table? --allthefoxes (Talk) 16:49, 7 February 2016 (UTC)Reply
