Current sourcing...

edit

At this point so much of the sourcing is primary, that I think I'd reject it from WP:AFC. We have to restore *something* in terms of the history, be it to Baird's or the Archive. (Frankly, the idea of having one article for Kappa Delta Pi and another for KDP seems almost reasonable).Naraht (talk) 18:23, 26 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Still a primary source, but not as bad as pulling from the current website on some things. (and does confirm that the club's co-ed membership stopped it becoming a Phi Delta Kappa chapter.) Naraht (talk) 21:27, 27 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Phrase directly from KDP

edit

OK, the Wikipedia page originally had the following exact sentence "Kappa Delta Pi was founded in 1911 at the University of Illinois to foster excellence in education and promote fellowship among those dedicated to teaching." Given that the last clause of this is from a description that Kappa Delta Pi uses to describe itself in multiple places, (for example https://dev.kdp.org/aboutkdp/pdf/FoundersDayManual.pdf), should it be blockquoted instead?Naraht (talk) 05:42, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
