This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because the information is sourced and referenced from a website other than http://www.iranicaonline.org/articles/kashtariti, and i am currently working on making it into "my own words". I also plan on adding more sources to this article. --Artin Mehraban (talk) 23:54, 7 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I emptied out the article as it was clearly a copy-paste. You can't start articles as a copy-paste just expecting no one would notice. I summed up the article to two sentences, but in the meantime I'll be willing to work with you to rewrite this whole article. I'm sure we'll find a lot of worthwhile information on this person. --Dr. Lurk (talk) 00:01, 8 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

I expected people to notice, and i understand wikipedias policy on copyright infingement, but my plan was, after copying and pasting, i would "put it in my own words". Yet i only have 1 source so i will add more

Do not claim scientific explanations for the article, edits will not be returned. Or it will be referred to noticeboard. Goodarz Irani (talk) 19:03, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Not quite sure what you are trying to say here, but I assume you are referring to the infobox reverts? If you get reverted, you should not just revert back, but explain why the addition was an improvement. There are a few things that look problematic- the picture of the relief; its not tagged as being of Kashtariti- do you have any evidence it is? The information and tags are rather confusing as well. Under "other names" you have Xšseriti,
Farvartish and Phraortes, but there does not appear to be anything in the text about either the first two names, and the notation above the article specifically says he should not be confused with Phraortes- then in the article itself says that while a few historians say they may be the same person, some dont.
Thirdly "uprising" is not a good tag...you may mean, "known for'? then you would put uprising and the dates perhaps?..although was it an uprising? the text seems to describe it as more as incursions into a neighbours territory sort of situation. What does "assur extinction" mean? and putting nationality and lineage under a family members heading looks a bit odd. It looks like you have tried to combine a biography infobox and a battle infobox, which is just a bit confusing. Curdle (talk) 21:35, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
History issues should be confusing for anyone who doesn't know anything about history. Goodarz Irani (talk) 21:57, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
Articles here are supposed to help people understand, not confuse them. Do you have any sources for that picture actually being of Kashtariti? Curdle (talk) 23:04, 29 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
