Jon was born in 1975, not fucking 1974 and these guys no nothing of Dissection, his friend didn't fucking shock him to death, he tried to run and was shot in the back the head.

Why did he kill the guy?

Because he was a crazy. I've heard that his suicide note said "I'm going away for a long time, I'm going to Transylvania." Whether that's true or not I do know, but I DO know he was a nutjob. --Stovaa Drakon 11:17, 01 November 2006 (GMT)
Every real true evil black metal band has a killer, so... ;)
Edit: See Bård Faust, Dissection (band) has TWO killers and they both killed homosexuals ! --pankkake 20:37, 17 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Nödveidt didn't ---kill--- anyone. He was convicted as an ACCESSORY to the murder, which means that he simply stood by while his friend shocked the guy to death with a taser, and didn't bother to report the crime. I'm not condoning what he did, but this is a common misconception.--Baltech22 20:37, 21 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Bård Eithun isn't a part of Dissection. He was meant to be for a short while, or at least they were testing the idea. Second of all, the murder victim wasn't chocked to death. He was put to a tazer or similar, true, but that was in purpose to knock him out for a while, which failed. The cause of death was (2 I think) gunshots. Jon's friend was blamed for the actual shooting, and that was the story.

How was Jon involved in grindcore (it's in the genre list)? This seems erroneous to me; Dissection definitely doesn't sound like grindcore. 70.122.73.97 (talk) 08:08, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The introduction says that he was in a grindcore band called Terror, but this is so minor, that I will remove it from the genres in the infobox. Erzsébet Báthory(talk|contr.) 13:29, 30 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
