Aboard SS Anglo Saxon ?? edit

Is this man identical with the "Hon. John Young", who, with his wife, children and servant, survived the sinking of the Allan liner SS Anglo Saxon off Cape Race in 1863? I'd really like to know that for I am writing the German-language article on that ship. Thank you OfficeBoy (talk) 17:11, 2 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

No, that was John Young (Canadian politician). Opera hat (talk) 17:38, 18 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Bride at 14? edit

'John Young married April 8th, 1835, Adelaide Annabella Dalton... She was born in 1821.' It's a complicated paragraph, but it seems to indicate a child-bride. 109.157.17.230 (talk) 08:43, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
