Joe Kelly (writer)Joe Kelly (comics) – Better disambiguation from parenting writer currently at Joe Kelly (author). The parent category:American comics writers uses "(comics)" where needed. However, this is not uncontroversial, as past history includes:

06:09, 19 June 2011‎ Maddox moved Joe Kelly (comic writer) to Joe Kelly (writer): neither he is a comedian...
04:37, 19 June 2011‎ Antrikshy moved Joe Kelly (comics) to Joe Kelly (comic writer): Joe Kelly is not a comic character, while "(comics)" is usually added to titles of articles on comic characters.

  • Comment – How about "Joe Kelly (comics writer)" with an S? That way, it solves the problem of "comic writer" making it sound like he's a comedy writer. Paintspot Infez (talk) 23:09, 12 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support don't particularly like (comics) though, the cat is Category:American comics writers so (comics writer) evidently more meaningful, (comics) sounds like something a Wikipedia editor would dream up, but he isn't comics. In ictu oculi (talk) 16:54, 16 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Support both options, prefer "(comics writer)". "(comics)" is used for a bunch of people, many of whom are both writers and artists. BegbertBiggs (talk) 16:08, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
PS: "comics writer" is more consistent with Joe Kelly (parenting writer) (formerly at "author"), hence I prefer it over just "comics". BegbertBiggs (talk) 16:10, 20 November 2020 (UTC)Reply
