References for this article edit

Although large hospitals are generally considered inherently notable, there is no harm in having some references! The Dictionary of Canadian Biography Online reference is about Hale himself - the hospital receives 1/2 a sentence mention!

A quick Google of Jeffery Hale Hospital shows:

Without looking through them, I am sure that some of them would be useful references. If I get a chance during the next week, I will look at them and see if I can find some useable references, but others are welcome to look as well! -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 15:06, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Don't forget "Hopital Jeffery Hale" also. DS (talk) 22:50, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

I am going to be sending the Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec a searchable PDF version of a history book by Alain Gelly called Centre Hospitalier Jeffery Hale's Hospital Centre 1865-1990 that the hospital published in 1990. It will be posted online someday soon. I will be referencing to that also. Thanks for all your help, dkqc 15:25, 11 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dkameen (talkcontribs)

If the book was published publically (i.e. not just a limited pressing for a few people), then it can be used as a reference. -- PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 15:32, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it was published publically. Even the Quebec archives uses it as a reference in writing their page on the history of the hospital (see the latest reference link I posted to that page on the Quebec archives) Thanks again! dkqc 15:36, 11 May 2010 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dkameen (talkcontribs)

It needs references edit

The section called "References" in Jeffery Hale Hospital (as of now) is really just a list of external links. They may be useful as references, but without proper footnotes, nothing in this article is referenced.SPhilbrickT 17:13, 11 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
