Mulan edit

Back in 2010, there were plans to produce an international movie adaptation of the Chinese folk-tale of Hua Mulan, featuring Jan de Bont as the director and Zhang Ziyi as the titular heroine. I created Mulan (2011 film) after reading this article by The Hollywood Reporter. However, months later, that same website revealed that the financing of the movie had fallen apart shortly before the shootings. Mulan (2011 film) was eventually moved to Mulan (upcoming film). I just userfied it, moving it out of mainspace, and requested deletion of the two redirects. Cheers, theFace 13:08, 23 January 2012 (UTC)

I am unsure what this section is referring to. Did Sandra Bullock co-direct Speed 2 with de Bont, did they both cook the food for the strike party, or what? It needs to be specific or it needs to vamoose. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 14:05, 20 September 2013 (UTC)

Subsequent work edit
After Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life he has no credits whatsoever until a cinematography role in 2012, which is odd even given the relatively failure of that film. Did he retire? Was he sick? The biography just stops. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 00:32, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
