– He may have only just started playing, but having become Celtic's youngest ever player, youngest ever goalscorer, and the first player in Scottish football to born in the 21st century, he is already more notable than his namesake will ever be. The Australian (who apparently played one match in his career) only has one link to his page and will never have any notability - ever. Unreal7 (talk) 16:12, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

NO. Jack is an old nickname for John, not short for it, and it's been a name in its own right for a very long time. Unreal7 (talk) 20:34, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
Absolutely not. We never, ever use "British footballer". Unreal7 (talk) 22:20, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
We never, ever use "British footballer" where did you get that notion? Is there a policy about that? I really am trying not to lose my cool with ya, friend, but you ain't remaining civil. I will support Jack Aitchison (Scottish footballer), now that I think about it. CookieMonster755 📞
Don't lose your cool. I'm only following what I've seen many times before, because there are thousands and thousands of articles about English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish footballers and I've never seen a single one that says "British footballer". Scottish is fine, but not in this case since he's more notable than his namesake. Unreal7 (talk) 08:59, 26 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
