Is this Iddo the same as the grandfather of Zechariah? I don't think so as the latter returned to Jerusalem when Cyrus released the Jews. Yes? If so, it should be mentioned here that there were two. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Thmazing (talk • contribs) 18:58, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

According to the Encyclopaedia Biblica, those are two different Iddo's so because this article is about Iddo the prophet, Zechariah's grandpop doesn't need addressed, unless someone finds a reliable source that says they're the same character.Alephb (talk) 00:51, 22 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
