Iberia" is a name by itself edit

I'm not sure whether that's true, but "Iberian peninsula" surely suggests that "Iberia" is a name by itself, with respect to Spain and/or Portugal. Also, Iberia is a historical region in the Caucasus, if I'm not correct. Jeronimo

Iberia = Iberian Peninsula? edit

Is there a source to support the evidence that the most common use of 'Iberia' is in reference to the Iberian Peninsula? For as long as such a source is not provided *here* (not in the main page, as it's a dab), there is no support in putting 'Iberian Peninsula' first. --maf (talk) 20:45, 14 April 2007 (UTC)iReply
