Unreferenced

edit

I added this tag, as there are no references given for most of the miscellanea nor for the sales certifications or the release date. None of that information comes from the album itself, nor from the only link given - a professional review at All Music Guide. JM.Beaubourg 09:29, 18 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Release dates

edit

I think these release dates need to have territory information, because it's clear the dates in the article at present do not represent U.S. release dates. A related article has contained detailed information about several release dates for "Take on Me", including three separate releases in the UK alone, spanning almost a year. None of those three dates reflected the release date of the single in the U.S. While it strikes me as unnecessary detail to differentiate release dates which vary by a matter of only a few days or even a week, it is useful information to note when the dates are several weeks or months apart. Particularly for an article about an album which was marketed to and which had hits in the U.S., it's counterintuitive to put dates in the English language Wiki that don't reflect the U.S. release, especially without notation to indicate that fact. This is british release dates and i don't know the american ones so you're got to find that out. --Alive Would? Sun (talk) 12:30, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I did some work on the article and I'll have to try and track those dates down. It still needs some work, I'll try to get back for a little more later today or probably more like Sunday. Abrazame (talk) 15:46, 6 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on Hunting High and Low. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Hunting High and Low/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start class:
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox
  •  Y A lead section giving an overview of the album
  •  Y A track listing
  •  Y Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  •  Y Categorisation at least by artist and year

C class:

  •  Y All the start class criteria
  •  Y A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  •  Y At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  •  Y A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  •  Y A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B class:

  •  Y All the C class criteria
  •  Y A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  •  Y A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  •  N No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  •  Y No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
The sourcing of singles is confusing! It's hard to tell what cites what here. Many of the paragraphs in Music need citation too. Good job overall. A-ha is getting some love! Andrzejbanas (talk) 13:23, 19 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cry Wolf

edit

This states that “The Sun Always Shines on TV” was the last hit in the US, but on the Scoundrel Days album page, it states that “Cry Wolf” was the last hit in the US. So which is it? 47.221.159.19 (talk) 01:40, 15 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
