Thsi was proposed for speedy delete under WP:CSD A7 "an articel aboput a person that does not assert the importance or significance ofm its subject". The articel says that the subject: "started to publish original contributions in applied chemistry", "culminated in 1869 in a patent for margarine", "received a prize from the French government" Together these pretty clearly assert significance and notability. I - the original author - would agree with the judgement above to retain the article. Mege-Mouries invented a product that is very common nowadays. I use it more often than, say, an airplane. But I don't think that anyone would seriously propose to remove the Wright brothers from the Wikipedia User:Hippolyte. 83.162.21.10308:45, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
