Last surviving German general of WWI? edit

In view of his great age, I have added he was possibly the last survivor of WWI to have held general rank in the German Army in the same war. However, I am prepared to be shown wrong if there were younger men who outlived him, such as those who reached such rank during the war while only in their forties. (I also beware that members of royal families were awarded honorary ranks in the German army by the Kaiser who were younger than they would have been had they been promoted on merit serving in the army.)Cloptonson (talk) 10:41, 21 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
