Rename

edit

Per WP:MOS, this should be renamed to Henry R. Campbell or Henry Roe Campbell. Andy Dingley (talk) 14:56, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Overall well written, the classification of the article is roughly around where it appears evident to be graded, as well as the overall importance. Many interesting facts are given on the subject, however, at times it veers away from the main subject and may cause the reader to forget who is the main subject of the article. CONTENT EVALUATION Is any information out of date? Is anything missing that could be added? References are made to out-of-date wiki pages of Samuel W. Mifflin , Norristown & Valley Railroad , West Philadelphia Railroad, Joseph Harrison Jr., Beaver Meadow railroad, Eastwick and Harrison, Hercules (locomotive), and Paulsen Spence. The quote in the beginning is very long and some information in the quote is irrelevant, it should probably be cut down to identify only relevant informationJamesj320 (talk) 02:41, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Article Evaluation

edit

Overall, this article was well written. Sufficient sub-headings provided a sequential storyline and accounting of relevant events and contributions. Although a few citations do not exist (e.g. West Philadelphia Railroad), articles such as "4-4-0 steam locomotive" does support the claim on its designer (Henry Roe Campbell), with appropriate reference. The article "Henry Roe Campbell" details the work and legacy of the American Henry Roe Campbell as a civill engineer and surveyor. The article discusses all the work he has done as well as his contributions to others and however as the reader, a lot of information which was irrelevant of Mr. Campbell and steered the reader from the main purpose of the article.
