Notability

edit

It may be protected by the National Trust for Scotland, but it really needs more referencing to support its notability.--h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 20:04, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

after visiting saturday 13th august 2011 for a wedding the site is no longer lived in by the gordon family since the death of lady aberdeen two years ago. the house is currently having conservation heating installed to allow the house to remain open all year round for the preservation of the books and benefit of the visiters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.194.228.64 (talk) 02:23, 16 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Raphael

edit

Anybody inserting a word on a presumptive Raphael Madonna in the art collection? --Terminally uncool (talk) 18:05, 4 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Since 2016 further research has determined that it's probably not a Raphael. See https://www.thenational.scot/news/17837532.haddo-house-madonna-probably-not-italian-master-raphael/. I'm therefore removing it from the article. --Antiquary (talk) 20:07, 27 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
