I mostly write about the various literatures of the British Isles here, with detours into French literature, Celtic legend and folklore, medieval manuscripts, 11th-century English history, classical music, stained-glass artists, and the geography of north-west England. Thomas Love Peacock The Misfortunes of Elphin
Wace Roman de Brut
Geoffrey of Monmouth Vita Merlini
Jonathan Oldbuck
