Gregory Despres → Murders of Fred Fulton and Veronica "Verna" Decarie – I feel like this article's focal point should be shifted to the murders themselves, and the information surrounding the perpetrator can be moved further down in the article. Fundamentally, this person is only notable for this murder case, so I feel as if it would be more appropriate to have the article named after the murder case itself B3251 (talk) 00:38, 1 December 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 18:53, 8 December 2023 (UTC) — Relisting. -- Maddy from Celeste (WAVEDASH) 12:58, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
- Move to Murders of Fred Fulton and Verna Decarie, per WP:NICKNAME. 162 etc. (talk) 22:08, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
- The article is so poorly sourced that it may not even be notable at all under either title. Outside of the long-deprecated idea that every murder in the world should always automatically have a Wikipedia article as a matter of course even if it would utterly fail the ten year test for enduring significance, what's the real basis for permanent notability here? - I'd argue it's notable considering he was ruled not criminally responsible due to insanity which is quite rare (being explicitly cited as a "prominent NCR case" by several reliable sources), plus the relatively unusual thing about him crossing the border and having to be extradited which given that he was covered in blood at the time caused some legal issues. Also has coverage to this decade which is notable given the murders happened 18 years ago. here's some interesting coverage:

- When it comes to the move I could go either way. PARAKANYAA (talk) 20:57, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- improved the sourcing a bit. i was kind of lazy with the sourcing and just stuck it to the general end of the section instead of specific statements though PARAKANYAA (talk) 22:12, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

- Neutral, but if moved it should be to Murder of Fred Fulton and Verna Decarie. "Murder" is commonly used in the singular when it refers to a single incident, even if more than one person was murdered. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:55, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
