Eat three Big Ed burritos in an hour, get $300? edit

Does Green Burrito still offer a $300 prize for people that can eat three of their Big Ed burritos in an hour?

Informative edit

Don't delete. This article was helpful to me when I wanted to know why my Carls salad said Green Burrito on top.  :) --James52 01:23, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Green Burrito History and Carl's Jr screws it all up edit

This was a great chain with a real SoCal history. Article needs more of that information and how Carl's Jr has really screwed up the menu. Gone are the Big Ed, Super Meat burrito, Super Nacho's et al. This is not the green burrito that I loved. This is crap!- TLAGT

The chain is now Don Ruben. And they still have the original Big Ed Burrito on the menu. However, I do not believe they offer the challenge anymore. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.14.248.62 (talk) 22:24, 11 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

One still stands edit

In Temecula, CA on the corner of Rancho California and Margarita Rd, an original Green Burrito still exists, still offering the Big Ed, and the rest of their classic menu. No contest though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.110.33.179 (talk) 19:26, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Merger proposal edit

Merge This isn't unprecedented, plus much larger chains with similar menus but different names like Checkers/Rally's use one article for Checkers and Rally's. Yes, Carl's Jr. and Hardee's should remain separate, but Red Burrito was clearly created by CKE to be a Green Burrito clone. Jgera5 (talk) 20:33, 31 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Do not Merge I don't understand how one could consider merging two different color burritos?! Red and Green are not the same color. Also, the rice in Red Burrito has 4 different types of chicken ingredients whereas the rice in Green Burrito does not. Also it is clearly not a clone because cloning would preserve the color of the original! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.50.239.131 (talk) 16:05, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Comment doesn't make sense. I'm doing a merger anyways, there is a LOT of precedence in this. Jgera5 (talk) 06:35, 30 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
