Station layout

The discussion of the station layout is rather confusing.

The article states that the two lines have separate street entrances and no transfer is possible; however, photos of the street entrances here and on Commons show signage displaying the roundels for both lines, suggesting they lead to both.
The track diagrams seem to show the lines on the same level, but other sources such as fr:Grands Boulevards (métro de Paris) indicate they are on separate levels, line 8 above line 9.

Can this all be clarified, preferably by someone with first-hand access to the station? Similar clarifications might be needed for other similar stations on this stretch between Richelieu-Drouot and République, I haven't checked yet.
