I uploaded a screenshot from "Bambi meets Godzilla", as it's probably the most notable reference/homage to Godzilla outside of the films themselves.

Roseanne?

In the movie/television section the famous use of having a Godzilla model figure in the background of the episodes of "Roseanne" is missing. Seriously?

The Nickelodeon cartoon show Catscratch was cancelled in 2007 due to copyright infringements from Toho Company, Ltd. for stealing Godzilla's trademark roar for the episode of Catscratch, "The King of All Root Beer".

Another cartoon show from Nickelodeon, Rugrats was cancelled in 2004 due to copyright infringements from Toho Company, Ltd. for stealing the design of Godzilla for numerous episodes featuring Reptar used Godzilla's design for that character.

I'm gonna have to call bullshit on these claims. Neither is backed up with a citation and even if Toho is the epitome of an evil greedy corporation I seriously doubt they'd be stupid enough to pick a fight with a media giant such as Viacom. Pretty sure Rugrats simply ran its course (it was on the air for thirteen years and Reptar appears again in the sequel series "All Grown Up") and Catscratch was cancelled due to poor ratings. Reptar's design is legally distinct enough from Godzilla's that even if Toho had the audacity to sue, they'd be laughed out of court because parody is protected free speech. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.50.43.174 (talk) 03:14, 30 April 2013 (UTC)
