Fleischmann's

I can't say whether it's a resort or not, but I do know there is a theater called Fleischmann's, in the town of the same name. Could it have been that her father owned that theater in the resort town/region of...? Anybody have a written biography of Berg? Abrazame (talk) 16:56, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

University

Online sources say she was enrolled is a "playwriting extension course." I wonder if that was a specific type of study that admitted girls. Everything I see online says "Columbia." Carlo (talk) 17:36, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

I changed it. I emailed Aviva Kempner, who did the movie, and got an email back from her that says, in its entirety, "It was a white lie. She did not attend Columbia. The Goldbergs movie

Someone should view and comment on the film. (I've seen it only once, on AMC.) It's startling, to say the least. Molly sticks her nose in places it doesn't belong and causes a lot of grief. The film ends on a very sour note, with the possibility her husband will lose his business because of her meddling. I was hoping the Wikipedia article would have a discography in it. If it's there, I couldn't find it.

"That Wonderful Someone"

An IP removed the claim that Gertrude Berg wrote "That Wonderful Someone" (recorded by Patsy Cline), and I agree with the removal. It was only sourced to allmusic.com, which credits Gertrude Burg. Neither a biography of Berg nor her memoir have any mention of Patsy Cline or "That Wonderful Someone". Without a solid source that says Gertrude Berg wrote the song but was credited as Gertrude Burg, I suspect it was just two similar names. Schazjmd (talk) 00:57, 3 February 2022 (UTC)
