Notability and sourcing

edit

There's way too much unsourced material in the article for a biography. An image was being used that claimed Washington is deceased, but was removed because there's no sourcing provided to verify that's the case per WP:BDP. While a former general, presidential candidate, etc. might be Wikipedia notable, more citations to specific sources are needed to verify this per WP:BIO. A Google search did not turn up any hits for this particular George T. Washington, so it will be hard to keep this or at least avoid removing the majority of the unsourced content without at least demonstrating WP:NEXIST in some way. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:41, 24 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
