There was some vandalism on this page but I removed it. Just passing foolishness. Rather, if you have time for foolishness, why not spend it on serious work? You only get so much time in life, you know. This article's content I believe is good. It's a useful article. The formatting needs work. WP places its references in templates, such as "cite web", "cite book" and "cite journal." You can find these easily in the help. Also mountains I believe - at least in most mountain articles I see - have the mountain box on the right. Check out any major mountain article. Thanks.Dave (talk) 11:14, 22 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

The toponym "Monte Gargano", doesn't exist in Italian Geography. The Gargano Promontory, mainly consisting in the Gargano Massif, doesn't present any mount called "Gargano". The higher peak of the massif is named Monte Calvo. The article content is clearly related to the Italian geographical and historical subregion of "Gargano" and secondarly to the homonimous National Park. --Theirrulez (talk) 17:16, 16 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article covers two discrete areas of knowledge. What about splitting off the paleontological content to a separate article called, say, Gargano Island? Maias (talk) 01:30, 4 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
