Fried or Grilled Plantain? edit
The image does not depict fried plantain sellers, but GRILLED plantain sellers - there is no oil used, so there is no frying being done. DrAzF (talk) 13:36, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
Merge with Cooking plantain? edit
Since this article describes only one of the forms in which plantains are processed prior to being eaten - and we already have a large article on that subject - the two should be merged. DrAzF (talk) 14:14, 16 April 2014 (UTC)

Should there be more in depth subsections? edit
Article explains that there are different versions of fried plantains and their many names in other countries and cultures, but most of these do not have a section that focuses on them and their specific preparation Pollypocket321 (talk) 22:32, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
