"Taiwan's Formosa Plastics Group (...) will open a second blast furnace this summer (...) The first furnace began churning out crude steel in May. The second furnace will boost annual capacity to about 7 million tons." the 2nd blast furnace started trial operations in May 2018. full operation is expected for 2019.
