C-MAX no C-Max
editC-Max it's misnomer. Correctly is C-MAX, officially. --Tomcha (talk) 15:19, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Bit of a contradiction
edit1. "For the North American market, the C-Max Energi and C-Max Hybrid will be assembled alongside the 2012 Focus and Ford Focus Electric at Ford's Wayne plant in Michigan. All European versions will be built in Valencia, Spain."
2. "C-Max production takes place in Valencia, Spain. To allow for lower production costs, the production of the electric hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric versions will take place in Wayne, Michigan."
Not sure which is correct. Would assume those intended for North America would be assembled at Wayne, while those intended for Europe would be built at Valencia. But those intended for elsewhere would be exported from one or the other? --T-dot ( Talk/contribs ) 11:40, 10 July 2012 (UTC)

Wrong picture
editFirst generation before facelift picture (which show back of the car) is wrong. It's the new, facelifted version, because it contains the vertical stop-lamp. There is good image: http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/gallery/FORDFocusC-Max-2846_4.jpg and http://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/gallery/FORDFocusC-Max-2846_3.jpg You can see, it's called Ford Focus C-MAX, not C-Max, as you can see on the wrong picture. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 46.139.184.66 (talk) 19:31, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
Contradiction in platforms
editThe article states that the first and second generation C-max are built on the same platform as the Ford Focus (104 inch wheelbase).
But then the illustration of the Ford C-Max Energi asserts that the car is related to the Ford Fusion Energi (112 inch wheelbase). There is nothing in the article that clarifies what this means.
Another source of confusion is the second generation is available in a long wheelbase, seven-seat minivan variant. It would help clear up the ambiguity if there were a table that lists all variants and their wheelbases.
When a car is "built on" a particular chassis, that is clear. But the term "related to" provides no information and seems contradictory to the article. 3dimen (talk) 05:16, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
