This page has a poor synopsis in my opinion. Also, it seems that midway through the second paragraph of the summary, someone has included a spanish sentence. I could be mistaken abuot it being correct, but the Blackfeet were NOT in Spanish influenced territories so it would be very unusual for a Spanish line to appear in the text. Also, if you remove it when reading the sentence it seems to make more sense. I am removing the line until someone can cite the line as being authentic. There are no Spanish sentences in Fools Crow, good call. wonderdwarf 10:55, 10 May 2011 (PST)

I read only the German translation, but I think the synopsis is misleading and way too long (too much details, not enough structure in the synopsis). For example, a very important part of the plot is the chiefs' failed negotiation with General Sully in order to protect the Pikuni land. This results in a loss of authority which in turn results in the forming of "criminal gangs" among the younger warriors (Owl Child, Fast Horse etc.) wanting to fight against the white invaders which in turn serves as a pretext to start a war against the Pikuni and ends in Baker's massacre. You could easily rewrite the synopsis to include all necessary information in less than 30% of the original synopsis by emphasizing the main motives and omitting unnecessary details as "...(Yellow Kidney) is shot by a Napikwan who had vowed to avenge the farmer, whose family was terrorized by Owl Child's gang." The last part is not only superfluous, but distracting. 217.248.222.240 (talk) 19:00, 5 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
