Photo of Archbishop Foley edit

I suggest this article should have a photo of the subject. JustTryintobeJust (talk) 19:51, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

The way Wikipedia gets most of its photos is for a volunteer to take one. Do you know anyone who could? Jonathunder (talk) 19:56, 27 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

The Return edit

@Dclemens1971 deleted a properly formatted event from November 2020 with archive.org link that Foley Beach spoke under his office as archbishop. Beach's biography is listed among other leaders and he presents himself as the leader of ACNA. https://web.archive.org/web/20200917072837/https://thereturn.org/live-event/#speakers Loose canon (talk) 02:23, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

See WP:COATRACK and WP:BLP. Just because information can be sourced doesn't mean it should be included in a BLP. A single speaking engagement for a prominent individual is not in itself noteworthy and thus needs to be appropriately contextualized -- Why is it being mentioned? Is it emblematic of other elements of the subject's biography? Furthermore, the website of the event itself (which this user is linking to in the "archive.org" source) constitutes a primary source and thus violates Wikipedia:No original research and WP:RS.
Also see WP:BLPCOI, as this user appears to be a person or closely affiliated with a person who had a conflict with the subject of this article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Conflict_of_interest/Noticeboard/Archive_196#User:Loose_canon,_Cornell_College_and_Convergence_Movement).
User:Loose canon, please cease edit-warring until this conversation is hashed out with other editors on the talk page. Dclemens1971 (talk) 02:35, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
The event has since passed therefore the archive.org link has been posted. It is a lineup of speakers and the event is being mentioned since it was newsworthy given that Beach used his portrait and his biography as leader of the ACNA. Loose canon (talk) 02:42, 27 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
You may think it's noteworthy but unless it's properly contextualized it doesn't meet WP standards for noteworthiness. This article does and should not list every speaking engagement the subject has done that has a web link to source it. Also, your response does not address the WP:PRIMARY issue.
