Split?

edit

Think this needs to be split into two pages, one of the term and one for the mag. Either that or make it totally on the mag, move fly way to wikitionary, and mention it in the mag's artile. What do you think?--Rayc 18:34, 16 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I think flyway could remain in Wikipedia, but it requires elaboration. There are a number of specific flyways that should be discussed (pacific, etc.), as well as the effects on flyways caused by changing ecosystems. It seems to me that a disambiguation page is not necessary seeming that there is only one alternative posted so far. The magazine name could be posted at the base of the flyway article. I will work on the flyway piece this weekend. --Agape negates fear 18:39, 6 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Flyway

Waterfowl flyways in North America
  • ... that flyways used by migrating birds may widen over plains and narrow between obstacles such as mountain ranges and oceans?

  •   Article is new enough, long enough, and well referenced. QPQ is done. No copyvio issues. Image is freely licensed. Hook is interesting, but it lacks an immediate reference in the article. I checked the nearest source (Colwell 2010) but was unable to find the supporting material. Could you point me to a specific source and location for the hook? Thanks. -Zanhe (talk) 07:18, 15 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thank you @Zanhe:. I can't find it either. That particular source is exclusively about wetland birds and I found and added another source that dealt with the topic m0re generally. How about:
Thanks, and I've verified ALT1 in the source. However, the info regarding the widening and narrowing of the flyways should be removed from the article until a source can be found. -Zanhe (talk) 23:51, 16 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
