Unattributed translation
editThis page appears to have started as an unattributed translation of the corresponding page on it.wp. I've provided attribution above on that assumption. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:17, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
Honours and awards
editWhile some official and semi-official biographies mention the "Premio Caran D'Ache" from Expocartoon and Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, we need much better 3rd-party refs for these before adding to the article. Even if verified, the Expocartoon award is not of sufficient notability to justify its inclusion in the infobox. Nor, is the large template necessary for the Order of Merit. A simple mention in the biography text with a 3rd-party reference is more than sufficient. Voceditenore (talk) 05:07, 10 September 2016 (UTC)
New book about Carcupino
editKorero Press has just published a book about Carcupino which should be added to the bibliography section, and can also be used as a reliable source, since the author's daughters, who also manage his art archive, were involved in it. --Nicoladagostino (talk) 09:40, 15 April 2020 (UTC)
Carcupino's Order of Merit
editRegarding Carcupino receiving the Order of Merit I think it should be definitely included in the entry. The Order of Merit is given by Italy's President and it's the Italian equivalent of the UK's OBE/CBE, so it's kind of a big deal. By the way one of the daughters of Carcupino has a scanned copy of the Order of Merit and will hopefully put it online. Nicoladagostino (talk) 10:48, 24 April 2020 (UTC)
