– Yet another dab without a primary topic. The topic we currently cover at the title Feda (a small village in Norway) is marginally notable at best. Based on pageview data, it seems that the primary topic might actually be Iron-deficiency anemia (a redirect), which outranks second place (Transport in Ireland) by an astounding factor of ten. However, googling "feda" reveals a mix of things, so maybe dabbing is better. Duckmather (talk) 01:30, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- There's some inherent long-term significance to old human settlements, but yeah, this is suspect. The reason you're seeing transport in Ireland is because the link to Bus Feda is red, so this is the accompanying blue link; not nearly all of its traffic is relevant to lookups of "Feda", though. I made the FeDA redirect now so we could measure the traffic for that specifically. The Japanese video game already gets comparable traffic to the Norwegian place. There's also a separate article about a historical Norwegian place. All in all, it makes sense to disambiguate to see where readers go once we offer them a more straightforward list for navigation. - @PamD Yes, so do we count it towards the significance of the current place? In either case, it doesn't seem like a place of huge significance for the average English reader, and it's plausible that casual references to FeDA and all the other meanings carry the same amount of meaning for the readers. Has anyone tried looking at Special:WhatLinksHere/Feda, are there any ambiguous links? --Joy (talk) 10:41, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
- For the record, at the time of filing, https://wikinav.toolforge.org/?language=en&title=Feda did not fully render because of no identifiable clickstreams (likely because all of it is underneath the anonymization thresholds). A quick search of the clickstream archive also failed to produce anything. So if we move, we don't risk disrupting any noticable amount of reader traffic. --Joy (talk) 08:09, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
