Contested deletion
editThis page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because I've modified the text with my own words, even if what is published on the euromoney on Imn website is nothing more than the official biography written by Pagani's office, so it does not belong to these websites. There isn't any copyright infringment. --FrankieFem (talk) 16:39, 19 June 2017 (UTC)

I was invited to demonstrate that "If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted "under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License (CC-BY-SA), version 3.0", or that the work is released into the public domain, or if you have strong reason to believe it is, leave a note at Talk:Fabrizio Pagani with a link to where we can find that note or your explanation of why you believe the content is free for reuse."
So below the reasons why I think that the page does not violate the copyright rules from Wikipedia:
- First of all, the text is the traduction from the Italian page already published (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabrizio_Pagani here you can compare the texts and the pictures, already uploaded on Wikipedia)
- Some similarities from the text result from his official biography provided by him and his office when he takes part of events and conferences (here you can read his official biography from ENI where is Non-executive director https://www.eni.com/en_IT/company/governance/fabrizio-pagani.page or here in italian from the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance webpage http://www.mef.gov.it/ministro-uffici/ministro/capo-segreteria-tecnica.html)
- To demonstrate that the work is released into public domain (because it is his official biography) hereafter the links to other webpages where you can find the text provided officially by him when he attends these meetings 1. http://www.amcham.it/detail.asp?c=1&p=11&id=12936 2. http://insiders.morningstar.com/insiders/trading/executive-profile.action?PersonId=PS0000A4PS&flag=Director&insider=Fabrizio_Pagani&t=0P0000C5BM®ion=usa&culture=en-US&ops=p&cur= 3. https://www.macroaxis.com/invest/manager/EIPAF--Fabrizio-Pagani 4. http://www.borsaitaliana.it/italian-equity-roadshow-ny/institutions/paganibiography.en_pdf.htm 5. http://lseitalians.co.uk/2014/11/14/situation-room-italia/ 6. http://in.reuters.com/finance/stocks/officerProfile?symbol=E.N&officerId=2507009
Let me know what else can I do/say to preserve you from deleting the page.

- It seems to be right. So, I cannot see any reasons to avoid the rollback of this page. --Archeologo (talk) 16:01, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- Archeologo, I'm unclear as to what you are saying. The fact that it is his speaker bio does not make it a compatible license. I removed G12 because when comparing multiple sources, it looked like all the paragraphs were copied, but when I rechecked after this, I saw that there were some which weren't. The goal of the copyright investigation is to deal with the more complex cases like this one and see what can be salvaged and rewritten or if it needs to be deleted. - Thanks for your prompt reply. I mean not a full rollback, but a new partly-edit version: can you report the links where the text is the same now? --Archeologo (talk) 16:18, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for the rewrite. I made a few more changes to avoid copyright infringement. I've requested revision deletion of the revisions with infringing content. TonyBallioni (talk) 16:29, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
