Spelling edit

  • It is "Böserup" which is mispelled. The correct spelling is "Boserup". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.150.45.136 (talk) 08:15, 3 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Set up a redirect from Ester Boserup to Ester Böserup edit

  • I've put a redirect from the mispelled article of Ester Boserup to the correct page, Ester Böserup. This name is commonly mispelled especially on a keyboard that is not accented so it will be easy to find a more complete and informative artcle. Enjoy! 82.69.64.163 (talk) 14:01, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Mauritius edit

The length of this section relative to the article as a whole seems to be undue.Volunteer Marek (talk) 06:38, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Qays theory edit

I find absolutely no reference to anything called "Qays theory" (tried Quay's also). V.B. (talk) 16:57, 11 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Ester Boserup as French? edit

The English version of the Ester Boserup page mentions that she was a "Danish and French economist".

I am curious as to why she would be considered French. She was born in Denmark, had Danish citizenship, was educated in Denmark and is buried in Denmark. To my knowledge, none of the current sources for the wiki give any indication as to why she should be considered French.

Sure, she spoke French from an early age and worked in a number of organizations, where French was the working language. She died in the french-speaking part of Switzerland. But in my humble opinion, this does hardly warrant the description of her as a "French economist".

Point in case, neither the Danish, German or event the French wiki-page on Md. Boserup describes her as a "Danish and French economist", but simply as a "Danish economist".

I don't have any strong feelings on this matter, for which reason I give not edit the page directly, but I would hereby encourage other to consider removing the French reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Justpedersen (talkcontribs) 19:08, 10 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Boserupian trap edit

I stumbled upon the term in Neanderthal Demographic Estimates (2013). Can somebody more knowledgeable comment on the term in the article? Cheater no1 (talk) 18:33, 9 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
