Talk:Edmonton Capitals

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

This article needs a rewrite, failure to adhere to NPOV, mostly in first bullet point on the 'decline' of baseball in Edmonton. This information is an opinion, and is extraneous to the entry itself.

Agreed. I'd like to pull most of those "notable dates" into a few paragraphs detailing the team's history. I will do so soon, and look to address the neutrality concerns at the same time. Resolute 00:21, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The Edmonton Capitals may merge with the proposed Fort McMurray, Alberta franchise in the NAL next year, and to share facilities with that, Edmonton and Calgary to represent the entire province. The name "Bluesox" was considered to be picked out and already have an interest in Blythe, California (the Blythe Heat) of the Arizona Winter League and the Arizona Summer League. There is two proposed NAL teams for Chilliwack, British Columbia (the Palm Springs Chill) and the "Heat" in Abbotsford, British Columbia But there was a "Bluesox" moniker for a team in Bellingham, Washington a city known for its blue bell monument representing the US' border friendship with Canada. 71.102.4.138 (talk) 10:32, 30 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
