Soul'd Out was not on West Hollywood, it was on Sunset and Wilcox in Hollywood, in the same space that had earlier housed the Red Velvet and later housed Club Lingerie. When Arthur Lee played Club Lingerie in 1989 he referred to it as Soul'd Out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.106.208.216 (talk) 04:50, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Owned several hotels before he was 19? Unlikely. Any evidence for this?

He "immigrated [that should be emigated] to the United States in the early 1950s and developed a limp". Is there a connection between moving to the USA and developing limps?! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.197.15.138 (talk) 22:47, 26 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Odyssey Disco Not Owned by Nash

edit

I have been checking with people who worked at Odyssey 1 Disco - they say it was NOT one of the clubs Eddie Nash owned, Starwood was. Second, Odyssey 1 was at San Vicente and Beverly, this is NOT in the City of Beverly Hills, but the City of Los Angeles. I was a patron of that establishment for many years and there was an up front owner named Scott Harvey who had two partners, one named Chris Cox and the other whose first name was Bud (Bud was Scott's brother - Bud Harvey). L. Greg (talk) 01:56, 30 May 2013 (UTC) Please if you are going to post on here be sure that you are accurate! Verify everything! Eddie Nash not only owned Odyssey One but he re-created it from his original club at that location called Gentlemen After Dark! Also, it was not located on Beverly & San Vicente! It was located at 8471-77 Beverly Bl. West Hollywood, Ca. 90048. I even have the old number 213.658.8106 right next to the Petrol Station which still stands on the north east corner of LA CIENEGA & Beverly Bl. Over the years people like you who never knew Mr. Nash print so many untruths. The idea that he was this Drug Lord and crazed Murderer, or that he ever forced himself sexually on anyone is just not true. I knew him to be a wonderful creative person who basically gave LA some of the best night clubs it has ever had. He was very professional and very business oriented which was why he was so successful. So, before all this mis-information continues, please give the guy a break and tell the truth about him for once! — Preceding unsigned comment added by CraigoreM (talkcontribs) 09:07, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

OK - from the above - the club location was not in West Hollywood, but Los Angeles. CraigoreM apparently never went to that club nor did he know the people. There was a RUMOR that the club was owned by Nash, but it came from some teens who wanted to link it to the Starwood and Seven Seas, which Nash didn't own.

Eddie was the man. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:547:200:8020:6146:B1DA:EE68:A1B (talk) 23:56, 7 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

I have personally checked with Chuck Starr, who did work for Nash at Seven Seas and who was DJ for almost the whole time of the existence of Odyssey 1 and he says Nash had NO ownership in that club. The owners were Scott and Bud Harvey and Chris Cox. The referenced article published unconfirmed heresay. L. Greg (talk) 01:02, 12 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

As this Talk page suggests, the article really needs some help

edit

It is a jumbled "dog's breakfast," with poor organization and a disjointed narrative. Are the sources so feeble that so little can be found out about this individual, other than details of criminal cases? If anyone wants to venture into this bio of a living person and put together a solid article, please do so.--Quisqualis (talk) 03:56, 4 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
