• Comment Funny seeing this here, just got back from Durham to London on one of their trains.... after an hour-long delay. Anyway, I'm neutral on the proposed move, though I would note their website and most references refer to them simply as "East Coast". City of Destruction 21:57, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
• Comment. Not sure if the capitalization is enough to make it unambiguous. There's a lot of east coasts, and a lot of trains. Of course, if we have no article called 'East coast trains" in any capitalization scheme, then it may be sufficiently unique for a name. I can't comment on the WP:COMMONNAME issue City brought up, as I've never been on one of their trains, but it is something to keep in mind.oknazevad (talk) 22:15, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
• Comment, it does seem to officially be "East Coast", so would it perhaps be easier to use "East Coast trains " as a redirect? Bob talk 08:03, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
• Oppose, no were in the whole timetable for EC (which I have in front of me) says East Coast Trains. Its own website says just says East Coast / East Coast Main Line Company. If it was East Coast Trains then it would be branded as such by East Coast its self just like SWT and EMT does. A move to East Coast Main Line Company would make more sense but the current name I feel is fine. Likelife (talk) 10:08, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
• Oppose. Their own website doesn't use the term [1]. A Google search gives the company's site (which they've tweaked to show up if you search for it), plus a number of unreliable sources, some near-unrelated hits and a few that say "East Coast trains" (lower case t in trains), using trains as a descriptor not part of the name. • Oppose - their official name is not "East Coast Trains". If anything it is (according to the copyright label) "East Coast Main Line Company". East Coast seems like the correct title, with the appropriate disambiguation parentheses.  — Amakuru (talk) 11:52, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
• Oppose, As the copyright label states that the official name of the company is East Coast Main Line Company, not East Coast Trains,so I too am against the proposed name change, however I do think East Coast trains could redirect to the article.Jamko31 (talk) 13:18, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
