Here we go guys, i created the page, and now if everyone could help fill it in that would be great. Have fun, and get excited for DW6!!! --EveryDayJoe45 02:54, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

- I added Cao Ren. He can be seen in the background in one of Zhao Yun's screen shots. I'll add the proper link soon.

Does anyone have a pic of Sun Ce? edit

When I clicked the link, it said that the pic wasn't availible. Does anyone have a pic to replace it with?Wingedregent 07:38, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

It was in photbucket and was removed, you can still find it in various sites, but it may have been photshopped and has not been confirmed yet, so i removed it. --EveryDayJoe45 23:42, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

OK, that makes sense. Thanks!Wingedregent 00:55, 9 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

About the pic that shows Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.... edit

Is the person next to Zhang Fei Liu Bei? he has bigger ears than normal, which is a distinguishing trait of Liu Bei.Wingedregent 01:52, 29 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

No way. I doubt they would make Liu Bei look that young. I think it might be Guan Ping, but I don't know. HeroOfVirtue 02:24, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
Liu Bei did look pretty young in Kessen 2, though.Wingedregent 02:55, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
That has pretty much been confirmed to be Liu Bei. One photo has been confirmed to be Liu Bei, and he looks extremely extremely extremely similar to the photo you are talking about. look and see for yourself. confirmed photo of Liu Bei [2], photo you are talking about [3]. --EveryDayJoe45 20:10, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Cool! Thanks for that! Liu Bei with the Swords of Fate FTW!! lolWingedregent 00:28, 11 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Damn. I liked his old look. But...the swords are cool, I guess... HeroOfVirtue 21:32, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Eh! I kinda like this look better. They made him look a bit better IMO. Wingedregent 04:22, 23 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Missing Characters? edit

Are there any shots of Jiang Wei, Zuo Ci, Pang De, Meng Huo, Da Qiao, Xing Cai, or Zhu Rong? Are they even in the game? And what about new characters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by GrimReaper39614 (talkcontribs) 01:06, 10 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

There are some characters that have been removed from this edition, and I haven't heard of any new characters, just missing ones.Zelphi (talk) 14:20, 23 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I'd like to see Wnag Shuang back in the game... He was a good character, and you gotta love the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dcwil477 (talkcontribs) 17:42, 10 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Just so you know, animals on the battlefield, is not a new thing edit

In Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires, there are animals that can be used by the enemies, I'm fairly sure it was a lion or a tiger or something. Just so you know, it's not brand-spanking new.

The characters in this game look white edit

Has anybody noticed that the majority of the characters on this game look white? Some of them even have features that are found exclusively in white people like blonde and red hair with blue or green eyes. How come there is no mention of this? The only thing chinese looking about these characters are their clothing, and even then they have heavy european influence. Do asians have an inferiority complex or something? How come they made the characters look white instead of chinese? That is very odd, I hope somebody adds a mention of this in the article. Daniel Chiswick (talk) 02:22, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Is this the first asian game you've played? Anime and anime-inspired games are all like this. Wikipedia is not a forum but the anime article would be a more appropriate place to discuss this. This is hardly game-specific behavior. 128.227.78.188 (talk) 07:49, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
I assume you were expecting some kind of crude caricatutre instead? 209.89.242.76 (talk) 21:06, 20 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

No, I was expecting them to look Chinese. The only thing I find crude is how they try to pass off white characters off as asian. Daniel Chiswick (talk) 03:58, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

You really like mentioning inferiority complexes. Is there something you are trying to project on other people? 128.227.97.130 (talk) 18:47, 21 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Could it be that they are not trying to pass white characters as asian but rather trying to put some variety in the characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.111.105.118 (talk) 19:19, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

The only Characters he is talking about are Gan Ning and Yue Ying. Two characters is hardly an exucse to say "The characters look white". Their clothing have no eurpean influnces, because like it or not, the yinyang and tao designs are chinese, dipshit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.157.69.190 (talk) 15:48, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, in all fairness, Diao Chan has never really fit into the "Chinese" catagory, and Ma Chao doesn't seem to either with that blonde hair of his. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.244.43.77 (talk) 06:06, 25 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:Ssm5gc.jpg edit

Image:Ssm5gc.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Jiang Wei edit

It says that Jiang Wei is a missing character but he is in the charater list. Am i missing something? he shouldn't be in the List of Dynasty Warriors characters if he isn't in the game. i say we should take him out of the list.Krazy lover boy09 (talk) 14:35, 7 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

It isn't a list of only Dynast Warriors 6 characters. It is a list of all the games characters. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.111.105.118 (talk) 19:21, 5 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Actually, they are all characters from Dynasty Warriors 6, but Jiang Wei and some others are unplayable RPG's. Nonetheless, they are important to the storyline. -BlueCaper (talk) 13:06, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Found edit

i found an error, incorrect grammar. There also many new attack types such as Grapple. should be "there are also"Krazy lover boy09 (talk) 14:41, 7 February 2008 (UTC) kk i fixed it Krazy lover boy09 (talk) 14:02, 14 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Expansion edit

I heard that Dynasty Warriors 6 Special is actually coming out for the PS2 (not PS3) which is bizzare but that's not what the first page shows. I'm not sure about changing it because frankly that doesn't make any sense. Valacan (talk) 20:13, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Dynasty Warriors 6 speical edits edit

I needed to update the section, it was really out of date as the game came out 2 months ago in the US... 96.227.219.78 (talk) 12:05, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Shouldn't some info on Strikeforce be added? edit

Even though that section has a link to the main article, I think that a small portion of information should be added to DW6. That should briefly overview similarities and differences between 6 and Strikeforce (i.e.: Awakenings). -BlueCaper (talk) 13:00, 10 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

What Happened to Many Characters? edit

For some reason, they got rid of Xing Cai, Da Qiao, Zhu Rong, Jiang Wei, Meng Huo, Zuo Ci, and Pang De. Meng Huo returned in Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires, and Da Qiao and Jiang Wei are going to return in Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2. I hope they bring back Pang De, Zhu Rong, and Xing Cai. Zhu Rong was Meng Huo's wife and supporter in the battles against Shu and Wei. Xing Cai was Zhang Fei's daughter and the wife of Liu Chan. Pang De was a loyal warrior to Ma Chao and later to Wei. They all deserve to return to the series. DJ DW fan (talk) 2:45 a.m.

Women Who Should Be Added into Dynasty Warriors edit

Ma Yun Lu: She was the wife of Zhao Yun, a sister to Ma Chao, and the best friend of Huang Yue Ying. She was a mother, a warrior, and a strategist for Shu.

Lady Sun: The wife of Lu Xun, she worked with Lu Xun on many occassions. She was the daughter of Sun Ce and Da Qiao.

Lady Bian: A concubine to Cao Cao and Cao Pi's mother, she was saved from prostitution thanks to Cao Cao. She helped to save many men of Wei from her son's temper. She was a big part in the Wei court.

Bao Sanniang: The wife of Guan Suo, she was a skilled warrior of Shu who fought alongside her husband and brother-in-laws in order to continue the legacies of their fathers.

Lady Wu: The main wife of Sun Jian, she helped Sun Shang Xiang and Liu Bei escape from being caught by the Wu forces. She was a big part in the formation of Wu. DJ DW fan 2:50 a.m.

Xin Xianying: The daughter of Xin Pi, she helped Sima Yi keep his calm after Zhuge Liang taunted him. She helped to save many soldiers of Wei, and she was a successful strategist who had an open mind and an open mouth, even though most women of her time didn't have much rights. DJ DW fan (talk) 2:50 a.m.

Many Looked Better Before, Some Look Better Now; Some Acted Better Before, and Some Act Better Now edit

In my opinion, Lu Meng, Taishi Ci, Huang Gai, Sun Ce, Gan Ning, and Zhou Yu of Wu looked better before Dynasty Warriors 6. Xiahou Dun and Cao Pi of Wei looked better before DW6, and Dian Wei and Zhang He had a better personality before DW6.

Ma Chao, Guan Yu, Lu Bu, Sun Jian, Sun Quan, and Zhao Yun look a lot cooler in DW6. Sun Shang Xiang, Yue Ying, Diao Chan, Xiao Qiao, and Zhen Ji: Looking good! I like Ling Tong's look and personality a lot more in DW6. DJ DW (Talk) 3:00 a.m.

Great. Nobody cares. Talk pages are for discussing the article, not for discussing the game. -Amake (talk) 12:47, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
