Soundtrack of the 1935 film "Curly Top"

edit

With the recent death of Shirley Temple, I took another look at my 78rpm record of two tunes from the 1935 film "Curly Top" - because the two songs on it ("Animal Crackers In My Soup" and "When I Grow Up") are credited to Baby Durelle Alexander on the label of the record. I had always understood that Baby Durelle Alexander was a name created for Shirley Temple, and was amazed to find this page. The Internet Movie Data-base (IMDb) page for the film's sound-track attributes these two songs to Shirley Temple, who does indeed have a part in the film, and there is NO mention of Baby Durelle on the IMDb, at all. I would be grateful for more definitive information on this, as the IMDb may be at fault. The other possibility is that Durelle Alexander is a fictitious persona! In which case, it is this article which needs revising.
