Requested move - back to official name
editIt's interesting to see the history about this; User:Ericoides changed the wording/formatting and then in the subsequent edit used that as the justification to move it from Dunn Peak to Dunn Peak massif. The official name of the peak is simply Dunn Peak. There was no discussion of this move, and it seems to have been done a bit wantonly.

Dunn Peak massif → Dunn Peak – This was an undiscussed move in 2011 and seems to have been done by first rearranging the format of the lede, then using that changed format to justify the move. Most peaks in BC are massifs, there is no reason to include that in the title. The official name in BC Names is Dunn Peak, and this is also used in peakbagger and bivouac, and in the BC Parks site. - That's fine by me, the phrase Dunn Peak massif doesn't show up anywhere really. There is some ambiguity in the usage - sometimes they are collectively the "Dunn Peaks" (from where the massif argument comes from), sometimes just the principal peak is Dunn Peak, sometimes the same summit is Matterhorn Peak. - The singular Dunn Peak is the most dominant in the sources. The Interior (Talk) 19:01, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Side note re Matterhorn Peak; there is an officially named one up by Bella Coola; and I've added mention of this one, and the Bella Coola one, to Matterhorn.Skookum1 (talk) 19:18, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
