Population of China according to ethnic group in censuses 1953–2020 edit
I'd recommend to remove the present 2nd column of the table named "Population of China according to ethnic group in censuses 1953–2020". Reason: The census figures give ethnicities (min-zu) which are not defined by mother-tongue! Thus, e.g. Manchu typically don't speak Manchurian language (unlike the Xibe), but Mandarin as 1st lg; large portion of Tu (Manguer) speak Tibetan as their mother-tongue, and thus both groups would fall under Sino-Tibetan language family. The Yugur form two communities which speak languages from two distinct families. Therefore, that column only introduces confusion. Moreover, leaving it out would make at least the 2010 census figures visible. For the sake of immediate visibility of latest census figures, I'd even advocate for reverting the order of the censuses columns so as to list the latest first. Most readers will be interested in the current situation and the inattentive ones might think that there is no data from 2020 added, as it looks at the first sight. The quality of this article is surprisingly lacking edit
First, the leading sentence. WHAT even is that. Look at all the other demographics articles, they all start with <country> is the #-most populated country in <continent> and #-most populated the world.
Unbelievable.
