deepthi naval's age/date of birth is inconsistent with other sources, which have it as February 3, 1957. Should look at multiple sources and see what the actual date is.

Deepti Naval Wiki Content for Verification edit

Early Life

Deepti’s paternal grandfather, Pandit Gyan Chand Sharma, was a leading advocate of Punjab. Her grandmother, Shrimati Manorama Sharma was a highly qualified woman and a committed social worker during her lifetime. Her maternal grandparents were erudite people who hailed from Himachal. These were the people who made an indelible impact on Deepti’s young mind during the years of her childhood. https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/trends/lifestyle-trends/a-country-called-childhood-book-review-deepti-navals-memoir-is-perceptive-thoughtful-intense-8973231.html @YesI'mOnFire

Her father Uday Chandra Naval, hailing from Punjab, was a professor, teaching English at the Lehman College of the City University of New York. He had graduated from Govt. College Lahore with Honors in English literature during pre-partition India. Her mother Himadri Gangahar, a painter, was born and brought up in Burma, where she acquired her education at the Jesus and Mary Convent in Mandalay. She later migrated to India during the Japanese invasion of Burma in 1942. Himadri’s fascination for music, dance and drama were infused into the mind of her younger daughter through bedtime stories. https://www.alephbookcompany.com/book/a-country-called-childhood-a-memoir/#:~:text=Price%3A%20Rs%20999,mystery%2C%20tragedy%2C%20and%20joy.

Deepti’s older sister Smiti Khanna, a biochemist, spent substantial years working on Cancer Research at the Sloan Kettering Institute of NYC. Her younger brother Rohit Naval is a Technology Product Designer and lives with his family in Long Island. Deepti’s nephew Sanaj Naval who starred in her debut film as director, Do Paise Ki Dhoop Chaar Aane Ki Baarish is all set to be a full time actor. @Santanibedita All sources are just book reviews with no passing mention to any of the family members. Can you provide other sources that explicitly mention them? 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 10:35, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Santanibedita For example, you may look for the name of Deepti’s older sister in Sloan Kettering Institute of NYC list of cancer researchers. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 10:40, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Can the book memoir of Deepti Naval called A COUNTRY CALLED CHILDHOOD which has been already published itself be the source of all the information? Sorry for being so inconvenient. I am new to Wikipedia editing. Santanibedita (talk) 10:40, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Santanibedita Unfortunately, the book memoir is considered as a primary source (see WP:PRIMARY) and should be handled with caution. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 10:44, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is a research paper published mentioning her sister's name as part of the Institute. Does this work? Santanibedita (talk) 10:43, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
I can't see any mention of the name, can you point it out for me? 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 10:49, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

See I have found a more direct link containing her name. Please click on her name. Santanibedita (talk) 10:55, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Santanibedita I see the mention, but there is nothing that stated that she is related to Deepti Naval's family. 🔥YesI'mOnFire🔥(ContainThisEmber?) 12:02, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
For primary sources, do note that WP:PRIMARY says A primary source may be used on Wikipedia only to make straightforward, descriptive statements of facts that can be verified by any educated person with access to the primary source but without further, specialized knowledge., so that's fine to confirm things like family connections. However for things like family names, WP:BLPPRIVACY and more importantly WP:BLPNAME should also be noted. -Kj cheetham (talk) 12:06, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
YesI'mOnFire is correct that that journal article mentions the name, but is not sufficient to show a family connection. I don't have access to the book memoir mentioned. -Kj cheetham (talk) 12:09, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
