Title edit
"Christianity" seems like an odd disambiguator. The position is not part of Christianity, the religion - it's an office in various Christian churches or denominations. I'm not sure what would be better, but the current title is kind of awkward. john k (talk) 18:08, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

- I like Dean (religion) better, but it's still a bit off. Basically, my problem with the current format is that while dean is an office that exists in Christian churches, it really has nothing to do with Christianity. Most Christian groups do not have deans - it is mostly an Anglican thing, with a somewhat less prominent usage by Catholics. I cannot see what possible relevance this photograph has to the Article. A deacon is not a dean. And the Reformed Church in the Netherlands is not one of the churches which is mentioned in the article a having deans. Unless anyone can justify its presence, it should be removed.
