Merger proposal
editAn editor has proposed merging Louis dressing into Crab Louie. I am adding the missing discussion section, as one was not added by the proposing editor and there has been no discussion. Geoff | Who, me? 20:30, 12 January 2016 (UTC)
- Merge I'm in support of the proposal as the Louis dressing article is more a recipe than an encyclopedia article. Further, the connection with the salad is best made in this article as the two were (apparently) created together. Geoff | Who, me? 20:34, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

editI am strongly against this merger. I am a long-time fan of the Crab Louis salad. It is just fine with high-quality Thousand Island dressing you can buy. But the salad is quite unique and distinct. 69.76.22.55 (talk) 02:48, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
