End date tradition questionable edit

Although the craft itself died out in the fourteenth century, the suggestion that it was because of a lack of ecclesiastical support is excessively specific and needs evidentiary support, as the symbology described by Richard Sporley[1] was central to the planning of the Council of Constance and remained central to Catholic exegesis thereafter until at least the mid-seventeenth century in the work of the Breughel family.[2] In the context of the climatological and epidemic crises of the first half of the fourteenth century, it is at least equally as probable that the craftsmen either died or moved into a different speciality to survive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.129.122.69 (talk)

Cosmati vs Cosmatesque edit

Cosmatesque and Cosmati seems to imply that a Cosmati pavement is one made by the Cosmati family and a Cosmatesque pavement is one in that style but not necessarily by the Cosmati family.

However, [1] and [2] describe the pavement in Westminster Abbey (which was not made by the Cosmati family) as a Cosmati pavement.

Should this ambiguity of the term "Cosmati" be mentioned?
