I note that the IP address 99.231.16.217 is constantly placing contact numbers for the subjects management agency and personal contact. The same user is also removing references to statements requiring citations. I would suggest reporting this user to a more experienced editor who could deal with them in the appropriate manner. --Epocalypse2 (talk) 22:18, 22 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Articles Together

edit

In case anyone is wondering, I created a joint article for both Ryan and McAllister. Everything they have done has been as a duo, and any article on one of the other would be an essential duplicate. Please don't split this into separate Justin Ryan and a seperate Colin McAllister articles, they really are marketed, sold and promoted as a team. They really need to stay together in one article. Any thoughts? --Mezaco 19:50, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I agree, its like Ant and Dec, they arent marketted seperately, they're a team, just like Colin and Justin, but they're also boyfriends too! TR_Wolf

Fair use rationale for Image:Hownottodecorate.jpg

edit

Image:Hownottodecorate.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Bestseller Status

edit

As no-one has come up with a citation for the Million Pound Property Experiment book being a Christmas bestseller and the fact that it does not appear on the Sunday Times Bestseller list for anywhere in November 2003, December 2003 or January 2004 (which is probably the best definition of Bestseller in the UK), it has been removed. This does not take away that the book was undoubtedly successful but someone is playing fast and loose with the definition of bestseller.--Epocalypse2 (talk) 19:57, 1 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Non-sequitur about laminate flooring

edit

The second paragraph of the article is largely about the subjects' personal relationship:

"As well as being co-hosts, McAllister and Ryan have also been in a relationship since April 1985 and are credited as introducing laminate flooring to British households.[1] On 15 February 2008, they had a private civil partnership ceremony in London followed by a Caribbean honeymoon.[2] According to recent press and media reports, after leaving 2009's edition of I'm A Celebrity contest on ITV, they announced that they are to renew their vows on their 25th anniversary, April 28, 2010."

The fact that they are "credited as [sic] introducing laminate flooring to British households" is not relevant in this context! Treeturtle81 (talk) 15:23, 12 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
