Wrong Needle edit

The first reference is about the New York Cleopatra's Needle, not the London one. I propose to remove the reference and the sentence it supports:

Made of red granite, the obelisk stands about 21 metres (69 ft) high, weighs about 224 tons[1] and is inscribed with Egyptian hieroglyphs. --Pere prlpz (talk) 16:47, 23 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Pere prlpz: Done. The original link points at something else, but the original target is now available at [1] - it is clearly about the New York one, not the London one. The Parson's Cat (talk) 13:27, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm not certain how to edit the page in html - but this https://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/37785/pg37785-images.html#Page_36 is the original source for the claims made in the transport from alexandria section of this page Thereisnotext (talk) 16:26, 7 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
